  LOOM   FOR   SALE

I am selling a beautiful antique 4-harness loom. It was my husband’s Grandmother’s, and is at least 90 years old. It has a unique history as well. It was once used in a Colorado prison to weave blankets and outfits for the prisoners. The wood, I believe, is teak and was refinished in the 60’s or 70’s. Weaving width is 42”, and it has 4 treadles.

I am including additional frames and a box of shuttles and other weaving implements. A bench is also included. I live in Brigham City. The loom would have to be disassembled to remove it from the house. If interested, please call me. Price is $900.00 or best offer.

  LOOM   FOR   SALE

The loom is a herald loom, 48" with a 40" reed.. it is very nice, altho the wood (I think it is maple) could use a little wax ,,,It has 4 harnesses,,,,,foot operated,,,,,,when a treadle is depressed  the harness goes up,, I think you call that a rising shed loom...

I have severe arthritis in my hands,, some days I can hardly use my right hand,,, I am unable to tie knots etc.     I really hate to sell this loom but keeping it is selfish and impractical ,,

I would like to sell it for $250.00
(I also have a warping board and the book, Learning to Weave that would be included)
